RAB’s most versatile, field-adjustable downlight yet — meet the SM3N1. With five selectable color temperatures, the SM3N1 is available in edge-lit and back-lit versions. The SM3N1 offers three mounting options in one compact fixture. It easily mounts to junction boxes, into ceilings, or in recessed housings. SM3N1 is fabricated from sheet metal steel housing with durable plastic trim and a gasket added to meet air-tight requirements. All SM3N1 models have five field-adjustable color temperatures that maximize versatility with the flick of a switch. All SM3N1 are suitable for use in dry, damp, and wet locations, making it a cinch to add lighting to kitchens, hallways, stairways, bathrooms, porches, closets* and more.

This surface mount is available with two types or distribution. Back-lit models deliver light in a vertical pattern, putting more light directly on the work surface, while edge-lit models disperse a wider pattern that reduces glare. At 10 hours of daily use, LEDs are rated to last 13 years, dramatically reducing maintenance and re-lamping costs. SM3N1 is UL listed, Title 24 compliant, Title 20 compliant, and Energy Star rated.
